Olivia Postma (9 months)

Hi Jacqui,

I have been meaning to write this email for ages, but anyway, here it is.

Firstly, I was terrified after coming to the workshop, thinking how bad it was going to be to leave Olivia to cry. I thought she would be hysterical and scream forever. But in reality, I can't believe how easy she fell into the routine and to be honest, it was taking me longer to rock her to sleep sometimes than just putting her down and letting her fall asleep on her own.

She sleeps so well at night and only wakes up between 5:30am and 6am which is perfect. She is sleeping so well in her 2 day naps of an hour and a half each and she is just in general a happier baby.

She has recently been very sick with Roseola and went back to waking up in the night. I picked her up a lot and gave her bottles for her sore throat as I felt very sorry for her. After she recovered, she has gone back to sleeping through and we have got her back in her routine quickly.

It's so nice to be able to know 'what comes next' and easier to assess why/if she's unhappy, as I can tell if she has eaten enough and whether she has slept enough, it's so great!
