Isla Johnstone (18 months)

Isla Johnstone (18 months)

Isla suffered terribly with colic and reflux and we were informed by our Paed to let her fall asleep on us after her bottle upright and then put her down.  This is how she got used to falling asleep.  I remember many nights as she got older of laying next to her cot and her squeezing my hand and JUST when I thought she had fallen asleep, I would let her hand go and she would bolt up in bed and cry.  She did sleep through sometimes but it wasn't great.  My Husband and I were constantly shattered and this let to a lot of fighting out of frustration.  When she was 18 months old we decided to book a holiday to Mauritius to try and bring us back together as a family.  It was as if a demon had taken over our child. First of all while in Mauritius, she slept in a cot in our room with us which she wasn't used to, she was waking up ALL through the night and it quite literally was the worst holiday ever!!

I assured my Husband that when we got home and she was back in her own bed etc she would settle down again.

Well if anything, things progressively got worse.  I heard about Baby Love and we called Jacqui straight away and booked our semi-private appointment.  I was very nervous initially about the training but my Husband couldn't wait to get started!! Isla suffered with her ears too so we took her to a GP who checked her out and gave us the go ahead to start the training.

It took 3 nights (and it was tough I won't lie, more for me than hubby) but after that we had our sleep and our lives back!!!!

I rave about Baby Love to everyone who will listen to me, this is the most effective, non-harmful way of providing your child with the necessary tools to put THEMSELVES to sleep!!

Isla is 5 years old now and is still fast asleep by 7.30pm and is still sleeping through the night.

Trust me, this is your happily ever after :)
